This video looks at the impact of active fund management fees and charges on the return from UK Pension Schemes. The equivalent of these in New Zealand would be KiwiSaver. However, the argument that active fund management costs are too high for the value they create is true for any actively managed investment whether that be in New Zealand, the United States or the UK.
